MFT Space Explorer

Hello Friends, Happy Hump day to you.  Hope your week is treating you well and you are looking forward to the weekend.   I have several stamp sets sitting on my desk that I am determined to create a card with.  I decided to create a card using MFT Space Explorer.  I just love this little set of cute space astronauts.  I also wanted to use my distress inks and create a cool galaxy background.

I stamped the images out on copic x-press it cardstock and used my copics to color.  I used my brother scan and cut to cut out the images.  I created the galaxy background using distress inks and added copic opaque white for splatter.  I cut out a stitched rectangle frame from MFT to create the shaker.  I various pretty pink posh sequins to the shaker card.  I stamped out the sentiment from the same stamp set and heat embossed it with Hero Arts White embossing powder.  I cut the sentiment out using the stitched flag banner from MFT.

Copic Colors used:
Skin: E13, 11, 00, 000
Hair: E37, 33, 31
Space suit: N7, 5, 3, 1, B28, 26, 24, 21
This was a fun card to create especially the background.  Well that's all I have for you today, thanks for stopping by.  Have a great Wednesday and we will chat soon.

La-La Land Crafts Photo Inspiration

Hello friends, hope your weekend was fabulous.  Sunday was Mother's Day here in the states so it was a pretty busy day for my family and I.    Now I just need one more day to rest, lol. I am back with another GDT project for La-La Land Crafts.   This week  we are using a photo as our inspiration to create our project which is below.

I decided to create a easel card for this project, I used Echo Park Summer Fun digital papers to create this card.  I stamped Sun Fun Marci out on copic x-press it blend card stock with momento tuxedo black ink.  I used my copics to color her up and I cut her out using my brother scan and cut. I added the Sunburst Border Die to the top of the card.   I then used the Postage Stamp die cuts to layer behind the image.  I  layered the lighthouse die and palm tree die cuts behind the image as well.    I added the postage die as the card stopper and used the sentiment from Summer Fun Marci stamp set.  I finished the card off by adding the seashell border.

Copic Colors used:
Skin: E13, 11, 21, 00, 000
Hair: E18, 15, YR23, Y21
Yellow: Y08, 06, 02, 11

Crafty Sentiments Designs Men/Boy Challenge

Good Morning crafty friends, its Tuesday and time for another challenge over on Crafty Sentiments Designs.  This week's challenge theme is  all about the Men/Boys.  Today's card features the stamp set Sunshine, yes he is ready for some sunshine and the beach.

I created a shaker card using a new sunburst die I picked up from Queen and Co.  I added some pretty pink posh sequins to the shaker card and used the cloud designer paper from American crafts sunshine.  I stamped the image out on copic x-press it  blend card stock and colored him up using my copics.  I cut the image out using my brother scan and cut and added him to the shaker panel.  I then die cut the sentiment #bestdayever.   Yep when you are hanging out on the beach, it is the best day ever.
