MFT Space Explorer

Hello Friends, Happy Hump day to you.  Hope your week is treating you well and you are looking forward to the weekend.   I have several stamp sets sitting on my desk that I am determined to create a card with.  I decided to create a card using MFT Space Explorer.  I just love this little set of cute space astronauts.  I also wanted to use my distress inks and create a cool galaxy background.

I stamped the images out on copic x-press it cardstock and used my copics to color.  I used my brother scan and cut to cut out the images.  I created the galaxy background using distress inks and added copic opaque white for splatter.  I cut out a stitched rectangle frame from MFT to create the shaker.  I various pretty pink posh sequins to the shaker card.  I stamped out the sentiment from the same stamp set and heat embossed it with Hero Arts White embossing powder.  I cut the sentiment out using the stitched flag banner from MFT.

Copic Colors used:
Skin: E13, 11, 00, 000
Hair: E37, 33, 31
Space suit: N7, 5, 3, 1, B28, 26, 24, 21
This was a fun card to create especially the background.  Well that's all I have for you today, thanks for stopping by.  Have a great Wednesday and we will chat soon.

Crafty Sentiments Designs Men/Boy Challenge

Good Morning crafty friends, its Tuesday and time for another challenge over on Crafty Sentiments Designs.  This week's challenge theme is  all about the Men/Boys.  Today's card features the stamp set Sunshine, yes he is ready for some sunshine and the beach.

I created a shaker card using a new sunburst die I picked up from Queen and Co.  I added some pretty pink posh sequins to the shaker card and used the cloud designer paper from American crafts sunshine.  I stamped the image out on copic x-press it  blend card stock and colored him up using my copics.  I cut the image out using my brother scan and cut and added him to the shaker panel.  I then die cut the sentiment #bestdayever.   Yep when you are hanging out on the beach, it is the best day ever.

Gerda Steiner Hoppiness Shaker Card

Hello my friends, Happy Hump Day to you.  Hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday so far.  Its the middle of the week and I am getting pumped up.  Why you ask?  Well, the weekend is almost here and only a couple of more days of work and I can enjoy my weekend.  Woohoo, yeah baby! See I am getting excited just thinking about it.  Well enough about my excitement, let's talk about this super cute  shaker card I made using Gerda Steiner Designs Hoppiness stamp set.  OMG, I just love these stamps.  They are so cute and adorable and did I say they are cute???  Yep they are cute....  I used most of the bunnies in this set to create a shaker card.

I colored the bunnies using copics and cut them out using the dies that are available.  I cut  the green card stock using the scalloped panel from the mama elephant all prettied up set and added the cut out shaker frame to the top.  I used various  sequins from my stash inside the shaker panel.  I then added the cute bunnies to the panels.  I just love the way they look like they are looking over each panel.  I finished the card off by adding Happy Easter sentiment to the bottom of the card.

I love this card and my niece will love it too.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you have a Fabulous Wednesday.
